Ten Years Ago

I stumbled into mass communication as my major in college in Taiwan, and it turned out to be a transformative decision. Throughout my studies, I discovered the powerful ways in which media connect with audiences and influence our daily lives. I was fortunate to land a one-month internship at a cinematography studio, which opened the door to my role as a freelance 2nd Assistant Camera (2nd AC) afterward. Immersing myself in the production crew and collaborating with seasoned professionals deepened my passion for this field. With each experience, my enthusiasm grew, and I found immense joy in bringing stories to life through film.

Step Into The Industry

After graduating, I embarked on a career as an executive producer at KD Film and Commercial Production. Throughout my tenure, I successfully produced hundreds of TV commercials and short films across diverse industries, including footwear, medical products, real estate, food, and television. However, I came to a critical realization: without a deeper knowledge and expertise in project management, I cannot ensure these productions receive the level of attention they deserve. It is essential for clients that their projects be meticulously supervised throughout the production process, as any oversight can pose significant risks and setbacks. I am committed to enhancing my skills to deliver the highest-quality service and safeguard my clients’ interests.

Study Abroad In SF

I made the bold decision to study abroad in the U.S. My experience in America equipped me with cutting-edge storytelling techniques, effective communication strategies, project management skills, and advanced media technologies. I actively engaged in a wide range of activities to fully immerse myself in multimedia and sharpen my skills. From the vibrant Chinese New Year Parade and the prestigious San Francisco Auto Show to the impactful Ritter Center feature story, I honed my visual storytelling skills and further strengthened my producer skills.

Career

Over the years in the media industry, I have discovered that visual storytelling is an incredibly powerful and immersive tool for conveying ideas, highlighting products, and capturing meaningful life moments. In today's world, where we are inundated with information and brands vie for the audience's attention, those who truly excel are those who master the art of storytelling. My mission is to harness my production skills to craft captivating visual narratives through stunning videography and photography, ensuring that the stories I tell not only resonate but also leave a lasting impact.

Future

In 2020, I established Ciness Studio, dedicated to crafting visual narratives. Since then, I've had the privilege of collaborating with remarkable clients and local businesses nationwide, all with the aim of helping them share their unique stories. Additionally, I serve as an independent wedding videographer under the banner of Ciness Wedding Film, capturing breathtaking moments for couples and helping them cherish and share their love with family, friends, and the world.
